Scope

TradeGlean is a personal educational publication operated by Adrian. This policy explains how information is handled when you visit tradeglean.com or contact the publication.

The site has no visitor accounts, comments, email subscriptions, purchases, or advertising. Optional Google Analytics helps us understand visits and use of the guides. You can decline it and continue reading. You do not need to submit personal details to read the content.

Information involved

Website requests. Cloudflare provides hosting and network delivery. Requests can involve an IP address, requested URL, request time, browser information, and technical or security information. Cloudflare may process these details to deliver pages, maintain the service, and detect abuse. Logging and retention depend on the services and settings in use.

Browser preferences. The site uses your browser's local storage to remember a light or dark theme preference. This preference stays in that browser until it is changed or the site's stored data is cleared. It is not used to build an advertising profile.

Optional Google Analytics. If you allow analytics, Google receives information such as page URLs and titles, referring pages, visit and interaction events, browser and device information, and approximate location. Analytics cookies distinguish browser visits. The site does not send your chart-practice answers or contact messages to Analytics, and does not enable Google signals or advertising personalization. Practice answers. Your choices in the chart exercises remain in the current page's memory. They are not submitted to a server or sent as analytics events. Resetting or leaving the exercise clears that record.

Correspondence. If you email TradeGlean, the email services involved in delivery process your email address and message, along with any name or attachments you choose to include. Messages are used to address the subject of your request and maintain relevant correspondence. Please avoid sending sensitive financial or identity information.

Cookies and external content

TradeGlean does not set advertising cookies. Google Analytics loads and may set analytics cookies only after you allow it. We save that choice in local storage. Use Analytics preferences at the bottom of any page to change your choice. Declining stops analytics collection by this site and removes its accessible Google Analytics cookies; it does not erase information already processed by Google. Depending on enabled protections, Cloudflare may use security cookies to distinguish legitimate requests from abuse or remember a completed security check. See Cloudflare's cookie information.

The site does not embed third-party videos or load tracking-enabled remote fonts. Following an external link takes you to another website with its own privacy practices.

You can clear local storage and cookies using your browser's site-data controls. Clearing them resets saved preferences; blocking security cookies may affect access when a security check is required.

Purposes and sharing

Information is used to deliver the site, keep it secure, handle correspondence, improve educational content, and meet applicable legal obligations. Optional analytics is based on your consent, which you can withdraw through Analytics preferences. Where a legal basis is required, necessary operation, security, and correspondence are based on legitimate interests, subject to applicable law and your rights; legally required processing is based on the relevant obligation.

Personal information is not sold or shared for targeted advertising. Service providers may process information for hosting, security, email delivery, and optional analytics. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or reasonably necessary to address unlawful activity or protect rights and safety.

Retention and international processing

Correspondence is retained only as needed to handle its subject, maintain relevant records, or meet legal and security obligations. Hosting, security, and analytics data follow the applicable provider's retention rules and configured settings. Local theme and consent preferences remain under your browser's control. Analytics cookie duration is governed by Google's implementation and the property settings; deleting local cookies does not delete previously collected reports.

Cloudflare and Google operate internationally, so technical information may be processed outside your country. Their Cloudflare privacy policy and Google privacy policy explain their processing and international transfer practices. Email delivery may also involve providers in other countries.

Your choices and requests

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to restrict or object to its use. You may also be entitled to complain to your local data protection authority. These rights and their exceptions depend on the circumstances.
